Awards to "celebrate promise and achievement in drug abuse prevention globally" are open to all non-government organizations working in the field of drug abuse prevention.

A total of 50,000 Euros (about $66,000) will be awarded in three categories -- achievement, innovation, and youth "big idea" projects -- recognizing evaluated, promising, and youth-led drug prevention programs, respectively.

Drug prevention programs around the world are invited to apply for the 2010 Mentor International Prevention Awards.
